Municipal Stadium, originally known as Muehlebach Field, was home to the Kansas City Monarchs from 1923-1955. The stadium consisted of a single-decked, mostly covered, grandstand, extending from the right-field foul pole down and around most of the left-field line. In addition to being home to the Monarchs, Municipal Stadium later became home to the Blues, Athletics, Royals, Spurs and for a short period of time, the Kansas City Chiefs.
